BTS Wraps Up Its Brazil Shows with Three Historic Nights of the ARIRANG World Tour

Sold-out concerts, a special “IDOL” choreography, Portuguese interactions, and tributes to Brazilian culture marked the group’s long-awaited reunion with ARMYs.

After seven years, BTS returned to Brazil for three performances of their ARIRANG World Tour on October 28, 30, and 31 at MorumBIS Stadium in São Paulo. Drawing approximately 85,000 fans each night, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook delivered an emotional reunion filled with powerful performances and unforgettable moments with Brazilian ARMYs.

One of the most celebrated highlights was “IDOL,” performed with its full choreography for the first time on this tour. The seven members surprised fans with the energetic performance, which quickly became one of the most talked-about moments of their Brazilian concerts. During “Body to Body,” thousands of fans sang along in Korean, visibly impressing the artists.

Portuguese was a constant presence throughout all three nights, with heartfelt messages, expressions of gratitude, and playful interactions. V delighted the audience by leading the chant “Eu sou brasileiro, com muito orgulho, com muito amor” (“I’m Brazilian, with great pride and love”) and joking about going out for açaí. The members also tried popular Brazilian dance moves, including the Passinho do Jamal and Ombrinho do Paquetá.

Each concert featured special surprise songs. On the opening night, BTS performed “Black Swan” and “Silver Spoon”; the second show included “Airplane Pt. 2” and “I Need U”; while the final night surprised fans with “Ddaeng” and “BTS Cypher Pt. 3: Killer.”

Jungkook also created one of the most talked-about moments of the final concert when he appeared with his black jacket open, revealing his defined abs and tattoos. The unexpected moment sent Brazilian ARMYs into a frenzy and quickly spread across social media. After the concert, the members playfully commented on Jungkook’s dedication to his workouts.

The final night also featured heartfelt tributes to Brazil. RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook wore Brazilian national football team jerseys, while Jin appeared wearing a blue-and-white Indigenous-inspired feathered headdress. During the previous concert, the members had also worn bracelets featuring traditional Kene patterns associated with the Huni Kuĩ Indigenous people.

As “Into the Sun” brought the final performance to a close, BTS concluded their Brazilian concerts and the South American leg of the ARIRANG World Tour. Through Portuguese messages, special performances, and heartfelt expressions of appreciation, the seven members created lasting memories for Brazilian ARMYs.
